if i look exhausted, thats because i am haha. we were so happy to see her!!

she couldnt be more perfect! seriously, who looks this good right after they are born? we love our beautiful girl!

being preggo

things we have discovered about me since i've been preggo:

i used to have super small hands. ever since august my fingers and hands have been swollen. i stopped wearing my wedding ring anywhere except for work in september and by october i gave up on wearing it all. which makes me so sad. im ready for my hands to be back to their normal small size. and im ready for bobby to stop describing my fingers as "sausage-y".

the combination of pregnancy hormones and late nights does weird things to me. some nights i am cranky, some i am so giggley that it is ridiculous. weird.

my feet and ankles can swell up to GINORMOUS sizes! we mostly discovered this in arizona where i was on my feet alot and my feet literally would swell over the straps of my sandals. there are no pictures of this and for good reason. disgusting.

any sort of strenuous activity such as climbing into bed or even rolling over gets me completely out of breath. running and climbing stairs are completely out of the question.

i crave a piece of toast with peanut butter for breakfast and an apple before i go to bed.

i am a complete clutz. now lets be clear....i was never super graceful before the added weight and giant belly but now i am, as b-ray likes to say, completely hopeless. i am continually running into doors and walls, tripping over my feet, and slipping on ice. good thing im only pregnant for a small part of winter.

i have actually enjoyed pregnancy.

i love feeling this little girl move and groove around inside me.

but we are so ready to meet her and luckily we dont have to wait very much longer!

at our doctors appointment today we got the good news that he is going to break my water on thursday!! hooray!!! we are so excited that she will be here early and that we actually have a date to look forward too instead of waiting impatiently.

my madre arrives on wed. afternoon and we will be celebrating her birthday on thursday the 16th by giving her a grandkid. best plan ever. :)

we cant wait to kiss and love on our little girl!

its beginning to look alot like christmas

waiting for this girl to make her appearance is hard. harder than a little kid waiting for christmas in fact.

tomorrow we hit 38 weeks. would it be too much to ask for her to come out now???

things i'm thankful for.....

1. our fun trip to arizona! we got to go down for a whole week and have a fun family reunion thanksgiving and celebrate a wedding. the driving was super uncomfortable but totally worth getting away from the freezing cold of rexburg! we had so much fun!!!!

2. im grateful for the great friends and family that i am blessed with! i had two of the best baby showers ever! my best friend mal threw me a great one here in rexburg and my mom threw me a big baby shower in arizona. bobby and i are so blessed and brielle got some of the cutest and most amazing stuff you could possibly imagine!

3. im grateful that we were able to be in arizona to celebrate my aunt kathleen's wedding. everything looked beautiful! my family worked really hard getting our backyard ready and everything looked awesome. we are so happy for boch and bob! congratulations! we love you guys!

4. im so grateful for family! bobby and i have the best families! it was so great to visit everyone in arizona and we are so glad that we are going to be able to spend time with bobbys family so soon in just a couple of weeks! we love our families!

5. im grateful for all of our new fun baby stuff that we got! i have had so much fun setting up our nursery this week! there is still stuff i need to do but im glad for something to keep me busy. plus it makes me soooo excited!

6. im grateful that the christmas season is finally here! i love christmas time and the decorating!! we love decorating our house for christmas! :)

7. and mostly i am so grateful for this boy! i love him sooooo much and he is always cracking me up!
