one month.

rayce turned one month on october 7th and i can't even believe it!

at his one month appointment he measured in at...

9lbs. 8oz. (36th percentile)

21 1/2 inches long (44th percentile)

and his head was 39 cm. (91st percentile)

i can't believe how big he is! compared to bri he is growing like a weed! he gained 2 lbs. since he was born and he does have a giant head haha. i hate fitting clothes over it.

he is getting so alert and has even given us a few good smiles recently! his first smile was on his daddy's birthday :) 

he is such a serious little guy, but we love it when he talks. (very rarely cause he can hardly get a word in edge wise with his big sister haha) 

he loves to be held and snuggled and he LOVES to eat! i am constantly feeding him and he gets very cranky when he is hungry...just like his daddy! haha.

he is a super strong little guy too and is holding his giant head up so well!

his big sister still adores him and has the sweetest nicknames for him. she calls him raycey, little brother, little buddy, and my raycey and every time my heart just bursts! i know those two are going to be best buds :)

my friend kristin came and took some extra sweet pictures of our little raycey when he was about a week and a half old. we love them! and i can't believe how much our little guy has grown up since then. i was looking at him today and realized that he already doesn't look like my little baby anymore and it made me pretty sad! but i love these pictures, i just wish i had two more cooperative kids haha. pictures and a two year old AND a newborn just don't mix! haha

rayce's blessing

this past weekend we were able to bless our little boy! we did it on saturday, september 28th at our home with a lot of family there to help us celebrate! since we did it on a saturday, grandma and grandpa wolfe, aunt granny and pappy were able to come and spencer, dani, and sky were all able to come down from BYU-I for the weekend. we are so grateful to them for making the trip and were so happy to have everyone there!

i am so grateful for bobby's blessing to our little man. i'm so glad that rayce and bri have such an amazing dad! and i'm especially grateful for the great example rayce will have as he grows up...i hope he is just like his awesome daddy!
thanks to everyone who was able to make it this past weekend! we loved seeing you and can't wait to see you again soon!!!

we love having rayce in our home and in our family! he is just the sweetest little guy and i feel like we spend most of our time just kissing his sweet little face. brielle especially.

she has been just the best big sister! we knew she would be....she is so sweet and gentle to her little brother. she is constantly coming up and asking me..."can i give my raycey a kiss?" "or telling me..."my rayce is very sleepy." we love that he is 'her rayce" and we are so happy that she loves him as much as we do!
