feeling accomplished.

hi. so i wanted to share a major project that i have been working on this past week.
i've been wanting to make bri a quiet book for a while now because sacrament meeting is beginning to become a nightmare and she doesn't have very many quiet toys.
i thought it was going to be super difficult but it definitely wasn't! its more time consuming than anything else. especially doing all the details in the end.
i found most of my ideas on this blog. she gives tons of templates that are so cute and easy to follow. she also gives links to other sites that helped her. my other ideas i got from different quiet books that i have seen over the year.
but i'm really excited to share it so here it goes!

cover with velcro strap. i originally just wanted a sun but it turned out kind of "tangled-ish" (like the movie) which makes it better i think :)

puzzle velcro kite and zipper page which i already know will be bri's current favorite.

fishy tank and barn with finger puppets. the fish slide and the barn doors open to finger puppets :)

road pages with velcro street lights and car track :) bri loves cars right now and they can fit in the little pockets.

learning to tie with the ballet shoe (obviously for later) and velcro spots on the ladybug. LOVE these ones! :)
this counting page was inspired by my friend mal who is an amazing kindergarten teacher! and i think i will eventually redo the flower page cause im not a big fan of the handwritten numbers. but it will definitely work for now.

and finally the dressing up page! love this sweet dolly and her cute clothes!
seriously. i love this and am so excited for bri to try it out tomorrow at church!
and if i can do it....anyone can. seriously.

i've also been doing some jewelry projects lately. this also is way easier than they look haha
i love the look of these nesting necklaces and mallory and i went to a free beading day at the local craft store and learned how to make them. basically its just wrapping wire. so easy and looks so cute!

bobby and i also made these necklaces for our mom's for mothers day!
i found the idea for a lucky penny keychain on pinterest and knew i HAD to have a lucky penny necklace!
our mom's have a penny for all the years their kids were born and of course bri...their first grandbaby.
for mine i have the year bobby and i were married and 2010 for my bri baby being born!

i LOVE it!

sorry that the picture has such a glare....i couldnt get a good picture.
 thanks for letting me share!

bedtime silliness.

bri and her daddy were extra silly tonight before bed and they couldn't have been cuter.

just as a disclaimer....bobby has been cultivating that disgusting handlebar mustache all week so that he can look like a biker.
mission accomplished.
hopefully that means we can shave it now?

these guys are tough.

then daddy hopped into bris bed with her for more silliness and she wasnt quite sure what to do about it at first. but it didnt take long until they were giggling and playing their regular game of 'wake daddy up by poking him in the eye'
its a wolfe family favorite :)
trapped like rats.

its good to have a daddy whose only 5'6" :)
doing some serious snuggling

can i just say that i love these two?!?
they are best buddies and always make me laugh.
i am one lucky girl.

being outside is better.

we had some nice weather the past few weeks before it got cold and rainy again and we spent it outside.
it was awesome.

bri loves playing ball.
and the park! she is hilarious at the park.
there is nothing like swinging. nothing.
we went to the zoo too. and we were so surprised because bri really loved it!
she loved looking at the animals and anytime she can walk around outside is considered a great day for her.
the week before we hit up the zoo it was sunny and in the 60's and 70's. the day we went it was rainy and in the 50's. we rushed out the door because we were meeting our cousin michelle and the twins and didnt even notice the weather. when we got there the few people that were there had their kids all bundled up in hats and jackets. my poor baby girl had shorts on and a light jacket. i didnt even bring her a blanket.
worst mom ever award.
luckily it warmed up a little but it really didnt matter cause bri couldnt have cared less. she ran around and was warmer than bobby and i haha.
hey there little goat.
she LOVED the monkeys! she watched them for a long time and was cracking us up. now she does this funny little walk whenever we tell her to walk like a monkey :)
we basically just brought the stroller so that she could help push it. she loves it.
one more park picture. she was so excited to realize that she could play on the toys with the other kids. she loves following them around and going down the slide. she just hasnt figured out how to go down steps yet...she just walks right off.
we're working on it.

i love this girl.
