things brielle says...

just a warning before you invest too much time reading this incredibly long post. it probably won't interest you all haha. but brielle makes bobby and i crack up hourly and so a few months ago we got in the habit of writing down some of her favorite things that she has said to us in my phone so that we won't forget them. 

so this post is a post for the sake of journaling, and so that we have our little girls funny phrases chronicled in more than one place. 

these are all in chronological order and we highlighted some of our very favorites. the best part about these are that bri knows a lot of them because she will hear us telling other people something that she has said and then she will say "remember when i say..." and laugh. haha. she loves to be funny and make other people laugh! :) 

please feel free to enjoy, but don't feel bad if you don't. who knows if these will even make sense to other people. haha. but we sure do love our funny girl!

bri's 1st official movie quote that she loved and said all the time, of course came from mickey mouse clubhouse..."Donald says, 'wait a minute! wait a minute! how we going to do that!' that's a funny episode of Mickey!"

on the way to church singing..."where are we going? to the nursery! where are we going? to the nursery!"

after we ate a brownie..."chocolate all gone in my mouth and your mouth mommy"

whenever she dumps out her toys...."oh what a mess"

during prayers....mommy: "please bless daddy that he can get lots of scholarships"

 bri: "thankful  that daddy could get in rocket ships"

Walmart=  the balloon store

buying dinosaur fabric for baby brother...bri: "I don't really like dinosaurs mommy. they're really scary". mommy: "this is for your baby brother so you don't have to worry about it." bri (everytime she looks at the fabric or talks about it...): "dinosaurs are kind of scary but it's for my baby brother. I don't have to worry about it."

when mommy got bri up today she said while her diaper was being changed...."what a beautiful day!" and I laughed really hard and said where did you learn that?! and she said "Dora says that mommy" haha

bri: "now can we put my puzzle together?"

daddy: "you really like lame stuff sometimes Brielley. "

bri: "yes i do!"

brielle (anytime she is wearing a hat): "I a cowboy guy!"

when we were reading the kisses book, bobby put beary up to his face and started talking in a high pitched voice and pretending like he was the one reading. bri thought this was so funny and kept trying to look back at bobby. then when the book was over, bri said "I want to talk beary!" and held beary up to her face (the wrong way with their faces touching) and started using a high pitched voice and talking for beary. haha. 

Bri was picking her lip and I said "don't pick your lip" so she stuck her finger in her nose and said "I'm picking my nose"

bri eating taquitos for lunch: "and the last Quito goes in my mouth!"

mommy: "you have to eat a bite of rice and then you can watch Mickey. that's the rule."

bri: "I have to watch Mickey. that's the rule!"

bri yelling..."Brielle that's not funny" bri: "that is funny. that's the rule, it's funny!" then she repeated the whole conversation over and over because people laughed. "papa did you hear me? I say..."

while bri was in bed for naptime we hear this over the monitor..."mommy I NEED roller skates. I need purple roller skates". later when I asked her why she needed roller skates she said "I need roller skates so I can roll around on my feet in the front room."

we gave bri an Oreo before bed and she said..."ooooh thanks! what a special occasion!" 

bri wanted to play with the bingo balls that were high on a shelf. this was her thought process..."how we gonna get up there? I know! lets get a trampoline and jump high, grab them and come back down!"

daddy had been scaring bri all night. and during prayers she said, "thank you that daddy stop scaring me"

bri helping with prayer... mommy:"please bless Preston on his mission" 

bri: "bless Preston on his mission and thankful we go to Disneyland when he get back with baby brother"

bri: " mommy look way up high and watch me!" (meaning look at me and watch what I'm doing. and she kept checking to make sure I was looking)

daddy: "your a butthead Brielle" 

bri: "no I not!!! mommys a butthead!!"

when bri woke up this morning..."let's snuggle on the couch and watch Mickey. does that sound like a plan?"

bri kicking off her high heel Minnie play shoes and mutters..."these just don't go with my outfit."

mommy: "your eye looks red baby. I wonder what you got in it?"

bri: "maybe I got an alligator in it!"

Brielle: "I such a good mouse-ka-ciser" 

bri pretending to talk on her play phone...."daddy are you at school a long time? do you like school? is it fun? okay. I talk to you in a minute. see ya later." hangs up the phone and tells mommy... "daddy said I can play with my toys!"

bri choosing what chip to eat..."which chip is the best chip for my tummy?"

mommy was trying to tell bri something. she said..."I'm not listening! I'm just coloring."

mommy: "are you a girl or a boy?

bri: "daddy is a boy but I a girl."

mommy: "what about me? am I a girl or a boy?"

bri: "a girl."

mommy: "what about baby brother? is he a boy or a girl?"

bri: "he is rayce."

mommy: "what's daddy's name?"

bri: "daddy claire wolfe"

at the restaurant the hostess called  "smith, party of four!" and bri said "party for mommy and daddy and Brielley!"

walking outside...bri: "what a hot summer day!"

whenever bri doesn't know what something is she asks..."Will u tell me just what it is?"

bri: "I not love you one after all"

bri talking to cc: "you can call me bri or Brielley!"

bri and daddy were watching little Einsteins and Quincy fell down...bri looked up at him and said "he a little oaf daddy!" (cause her daddy always calls her a little oaf because she is super clumsy)

Bri kicked the ball but it wasn't too me. .I told her I couldn't reach it and she said "u can daddy just give it a try!"

when I picked bri up from nursery today she said..."I missed you sweetheart!" 

bobby: "what's back there?" bri: (said in spooky voice) "a really spooky spider!"

what bri sings as she checks you with her stethoscope (from doc mcstuffins) "check your heart, check your eye, check your 'nother eye, check your ear, check your 'nother ear. find out how much you've grooown! it's okay if you giggle, it will only tickle a little. time for your check up!"

 we just love her a bunch.

america the beautiful

we had such a great 4th of july. its becoming one of my favorite holidays, always full of lots of family and lots of fun. this year our day was jammed packed with patriotic fun and we loved it!

our ward does a pancake breakfast and bike parade on the morning of the 4th of july and bri was ridiculously excited about it. she could not wait to ride her bike in the parade. we decorated her bike all patriotic on monday night for family home evening because we had family coming to visit, and all week all we heard was bri asking "is it time to ride in the parade now?!"

so excited to have her bike all decorated!

 the morning of the breakfast, we were worried that she was going to be cranky cause the breakfast was at 7 and so we had to wake her up early (she normally sleeps till around 9 or so which her mommy and daddy love!) but we asked if she knew what it was time for and she jumped up in her bed and yelled, "its time for the parade!" she was so happy!

she patiently endured the breakfast portion of the activity while waiting to ride her bike haha.

we love our little patriotic girl!

she did so good and rode more than we have ever seen her!

 she loved riding her bike with all the kids to the "picnic" (patriotic) music haha. but our favorite thing was that she kept wanting to ride all the other kids bikes, scooters, and cars. haha. after all the fuss about wanting to ride her bike in the parade and all we heard was "i ride the princess bike/car/scooter now?" haha it was cracking us up!

they passed out candy and bri loves a good sucker!

she thought it was cool to follow around grandma and cc on their decorated bikes too.

 after the parade we were all pretty tired so we came home to relax. and bri wanted to be as close as possible to snuggle with her daddy while he was sleeping. :) makes my heart melt! she is the sweetest and has been very attached to her daddy lately.

after our rest bri went over to hang out with grandma great for a little bit while everyone went to see the lone ranger. which we all loved! and after we picked up bri we decided that we wanted a delicious hot dog to end our day so we all loaded up in the car and drove over to mesa to get a hot dog from my dads favorite place, ted's hot dogs. some people might think that its crazy to drive 45 minutes for a hot dog, but those people have never had a ted's hot dog haha.

 the day totally wore bri out and she fell asleep 5 minutes from home. even after trying the whole way to stay awake so that we could do her "fireworks" (sparklers). we were bummed but she was totally out and didnt even stir when we got her dressed for bed. haha. so bobby and i enjoyed a few sparklers ourselves before going to bed. :)

 our 4th of july fun got to continue the next day too when we went to go see the diamondbacks game and fireworks show the next night. we got there a little late and the stadium was hot and packed but bri still did so good and we were so proud of her! and it was worth the wait because bri loved the fireworks this year!  she kept saying "what a special surprise!" haha and after it was done "that was so awesome!" haha. she is getting funnier and funnier.

luckily grandma and cc came to help keep her entertained so daddy and grandpa could enjoy the game!

she would stop whatever she was doing and clap and cheer whenever everyone else would haha

she loved the fireworks!

and loved telling daddy what all the colors were!

 we had a great 4th of july this year and loved that we could celebrate and do such fun things with family! we are so grateful that we live in such an amazing country and have the wonderful freedoms that we are blessed with! we feel so lucky when we think about it and grateful for all those that came before us that have made these freedoms possible!

some cousins and a frog visit us.

our first week of july was very busy and full of family fun. our favorite san antonio cousins came to visit us on their way to utah and idaho and we had so much fun! bobby and i miss getting to hang out with kyle and michelle all the time like we got to in our rexburg days and we can't believe that their girls are already almost five! it seems like they were just born! where does the time go? and we finally got to meet their adorable little brother henry, we are so glad they came!

most of their visit was spent in the pool swimming and having a blast! i haven't spent so much time in the water in years! but bri loved getting to hang out with the "big girls" and swimming with them. they were so sweet with her too and we were sad to see them leave!

 the night before they left uncle kent came into town and so we even got to go to carlos o'briens! best visit ever! we love it when uncle kent comes! and bri freaks out a little bit less everytime he visits haha. of course this time it may have helped that we explained that he is jane and eliza's grandpa and that they love him. haha

 after the girls left we woke up the next morning to a frog in one of our basement window wells. bri thought it was okay when there was glass between us, but she got really nervous when daddy got home from school and rescued it from the window well.

the best part happened after bri started feeling okay about the frog cause it wasn't moving and so she let bobby put her down. and then the frog suddenly turned around and started hopping in her direction haha. i'm not sure if brielle or grandma screamed louder haha. i wish i had a video of it because it was so funny! brielle practically jumped into my arms and was totally flipping. 

obviously we are still working on being braver haha.

how can june be over??

how can it possibly already be almost the middle of july?!? crazy. this summer has been flying by! and you wont hear me complaining about that. it is hot! plus we are extra anxious to meet our baby boy, so it can just keep speeding by as far as i am concerned.

here are a few leftover pictures from june that never made it into any of our blog posts.

bri gets allergies way worse than me and bobby and they kind of kicked her trash for a few days at the beginning of this month. allergies stink, but they do make her extra snuggly!

this is one of my favorite pictures....its the morning after we bought her bike. and she woke up and literally sat on her new bike all morning haha. she brought her toys up there, watched cartoons from there, everything was on the bike. she was so excited!

when going through bri's old baby stuff, we found this fun zebra costume/outfit of bobbys from when he was little. bri was so excited that it fit her and thought it was so cool to be a zebra like daddy was when he was little.

bobby has recently perfected the double front flip off the diving board (though its kind of hard to tell that from this picture) but he was so excited about it!! haha

bri was so excited to help grandma make sugar cookies for girls camp!

grandma wolfe got bri this cool bowl that you can drink the milk from the straw and she is obsessed with it! cereal HAS to go in her cinderella bowl now!

this picture is documenting the fact that i won at H.O.R.S.E. for seriously the first time in my life! the best part is that my little sister got second and bobby came in last. haha. we creamed them and we were excited about it. we have been spending lots of time in the pool trying not to melt!

i had bobby take these pictures which accounts for the weird face on the right. but we hit 30 weeks at the end of june!! hooray! we can't wait to meet our little man!

bri was excited that she got to help me blow out more birthday candles when we celebrated my birthday at sunday family dinner.

when we aren't in the pool, we are inside in the air conditioning so we have been trying to think of projects to keep us busy. one day we made binoculars out of toilet paper rolls. bri was so excited to paint with daddy's shirt on :)
