never grow up

my amazingly talented friend amber took some pictures of brielle this past week.

today the bears beat the seahawks.

next week the bears play the packers for the nfc championship.

things that we love about brielle.

she is getting the cutest chunky cheeks. this week bobby and i have noticed that her cheeks are getting super chubby. i cant help but kiss them every chance i get!

she is always super alert. always has been, even when she was first born. i love watching those big, wide, blue eyes take in everything.

she loves having her legs in the air. sometimes i will get her out of her crib to find that she has pulled her legs out of her leg holes and is curled up indian style inside her pj's.

all her clothes are too big for her. even though she is gaining weight her clothes and headbands are still a little to big for her. it cracks us up when her bows slide down her cute little head. the best part about her clothes being too big is that we forget how small she actually is and get reminded of how cute and tiny she is when we change her. she looks so funny! haha

she giggles in her sleep. yeah, yeah. we know that she doesnt mean too and that it probably isnt even giggling. but this new trick is just about the cutest thing ever!

she has the funniest "pathetic cry". bobby and i always feel bad cause we cant help but laugh when she starts doing her pathetic whimper. of course we stop laughing when she starts exercising those lungs hard core.

she loves to be cuddled. especially when she is overtired, she wants nothing more than to be held. she will cry and cry in her bed and then fall asleep seconds after you start cuddling her.

she has to hold onto something while she is eating. fingers, clothes, bottle, anything. but beware if you give her your finger...your not getting it back till she is done.

she makes the most hilarious faces. we call this first one her zoolander face. its her favorite face to make. seriously she makes it literally everytime she is awake. it cracks us up!

she was a little unsure at first about her first bath but she later decided that she really likes baths. luckily we got a picture of this face before she changed her mind.

she is a pooper. if you have held her for any amount of time you know this is true. sometimes i think that she feels like it is her personal mission in life to immediately dirty any clean diaper that is placed on her.

she also loves to pee whenever her diaper is off. i didnt really anticipate this problem since we werent having a boy but this girl loves it. ridiculous.

she is starting to find her voice. and we totally love to listen to her little babblings.

we love seeing ourselves in her face. like my bump in between her eyebrows that sticks out when she gets mad or my pointy chin and bobbys cute nose and ears.

this cute girl has us completely wrapped around her finger. we love seeing how much she has already changed and grown up just in the past (almost) 4 weeks.

heres to the new year...

we have had a busy and exciting 2 weeks here at the wolfe house full of family and holiday fun. we were so lucky to have been able to spend time with both of our wonderful families and introduce brielle to them. christmas was already more fun as a family of three! and we are still loving our favorite christmas present most of all!

bri was so excited for santa to come!! isnt she just the sweetest?!?

while we had family here we were lucky enough to be able to bless brielle. it was small and quick, but we have the nicest bishop who made time during the week to let us do this! we were so glad that we were able to have our families there when bobby blessed our sweet little girl. bobby gave her the sweetest blessing and she was so alert and good the whole time! we are so grateful for brielle! its crazy how we can already barely remember what things were like without her! and we are so lucky cause she is the best baby!! we love her so much!

our pretty girl in her blessing dress. it was pretty big on her cause she is still so little but this is the dress that my grandma made for me when i was born and me and both of my sisters wore this dress when we were blessed. :)
