half way to 48!!!

Soooooo...i dont know how to put pictures on or really do anything on blogs so it will be typing..I just wanted the best wife a guy could have and the best mommy brielle could have ..(she told me to put it in last night) to know how much we love her and appreciate everything she does! Especially on your BIRTHDAY! your getting to be an old lady! well bri is crying and i dont want you to get up and see this before you look on blogger but i love you more than anything in the whole world and dont know how or why i got so lucky but ill take it! i love you and happy birthday!

dear daddy,

it's me, brielle. i just wanted to tell you happy daddy's day!!
here's a picture of the presents that i made you so that you wont ever forget them.
i made them all by myself, mom didnt even help. what a bum.i think you are the best daddy ever.
my very favorite thing is to sit next to you on my special spot on the couch and play with my toys while you do your homework or watch tv.
its my very favorite place to be!

183 days

today our little girl is 6 months old!
she actually isn't so little anymore though.

here are some things brielle loves right now.....

kisses.
eating big girl food. (especially pears!)
scooting around backwards on her tummy.
playing with her toys.
music and dancing.
giggling. (especially when she's tired. she gets that from her mom.)
going on walks.
hanging out in the sunshine.
baths and showers. (we really want it to get warmer cause this girl is going to LOVE the splash park!)
smiling.
snuggling.
skyping with family.
and of course she loves her mommy and daddy!

for reaching her 6 month mark we found this great little find on craigslist and it is a huge hit! it has already provided hours of entertainment for brielle and for her mom and dad.

this has been the best 6 months.

also, a shoutout to our friend lucy who is exactly 6 months older than bri and is 1 year old today!!

im just a summer girl

we had the best weekend full of the nicest weather of the year so far!
i'll tell you something. i cant handle winter lasting until june.
june means summer vacation, swimming, my birthday, camping, and wearing shorts.
we love june!

we also went to the drive-in this weekend and watched x-men first class. (awesome!)
the drive-in is amazing when you have a baby! its how we are going to be seeing all the sweet new movies this summer. we just get there early, chill in the back of the truck with a hot and ready, let bri play and wear herself out, and then put her to bed in her carseat when the movie starts.
even if she does wake up, we're in our own car. no one can hear her. so great!

bri is almost 6 months now and i cant believe it! she now constantly rolls over to her stomach as soon as she is on her back. the only way to stop it is by putting a pillow next to her right side cause she can only turn one way haha.
she totally gets into skyping now and will laugh at my mom and sisters when they make funny faces at her through the computer.
she LOVES outside and going for walks!
she also loves her sunglasses. if i put them on her face they stay there. we think that she thinks that she looks pretty cool.
she is almost sitting up all by herself. she only falls if she is lunging for an out of reach toy. i wouldn't be surprised if she had it down by the end of the week though. she learns things so fast when she wants too.
she loves her rice cereal and has also tried carrots, green beans, and bananas so far.
she makes the funniest faces and noises and loves to make bobby and i laugh. whenever we laugh at her she gets so excited and smiles and laughs herself.

she is so much fun to have around and we can't believe how grown up she is!
