over christmas break we also took a short trip to kanab, utah to celebrate by grandparents 50th anniversary.

50 years! woohoo! 

it will be awesome when bobby and i have 50 years worth of memories to share together!

we took some family pictures and had a fun party with lots of people hanging out and celebrating my wonderful grandparents and their life together!

it was so fun to spend time with family that we hadnt seen in awhile.

my dads band also played so we all got to jam out as well :)

bri had fun playing with all the cousins and as the first and only great-grandchild she was shown off a ton! :)

the next day we all relaxed and rode atvs together.

my uncle scot brought his atvs and my grandpa had his jeep and we spent the day hiking, playing cards, and exploring peekaboo canyon.

the weather was amazing!!

it was so much fun to spend time with the brooksby's especially since we are all so spread out!

we had such a wonderful christmas vacation in arizona that i just havent had a second to update our blog. 

bri and i didnt even get back to rexburg until sunday and we have been recovering ever since. 

 we had a fun busy vacation.

we spent christmas in peoria with my family hanging out and then we took a quick trip up to kanab to celebrate grandma and grandpa brooksbys 50th anniversary and had a blast!

after that we relaxed spent time together enjoying the wonderful arizona weather.

but i'll blog about that stuff later. for now here are some pictures from our 2nd christmas with our little brielley.

 after spending christmas eve relaxing and catching up on traditions that i have missed the past few years it was so nice to have christmas day on a sunday.

we woke up early to check out the christmas tree and then headed to 9:00 church.

my parents ward had an amazing christmas program and then we got to spend the rest of christmas at home together. 

it was such an amazing christmas :)

and yes. bri got very, very, VERY spoiled by all the people who love her!

bri made christmas so fun this year. she just lit up at her presents and is still loving them today. 

the biggest hit was her new dolly from grammy and grandpa brooksby.

just writing about christmas helps me to remember how lucky we are! 

bobby and i are both blessed with amazing families that love and adore brielle and this christmas was so wonderful. 

we hope that everyone else had a magical holiday season as well!! better late than never :)
