halloween fun!

halloween was so fun this year! brielle got so into it and absolutely loved it! it was so cute how excited she was to dress up and go trick or treating. she is still asking if we can go again. for halloween this year bobby wanted to be superman so i thought we would all be something along the lines of that. hahaha. good one mom. there was no way that brielle was going to be anything other than minnie mouse. she was so excited to be minnie, so i made bobby a superman costume and the rest of us were superman, superboy, and lois lane and we got to hang around with minnie mouse all night :) luckily i still have a couple halloweens before rayce will care so i can make him be whatever i want him to be haha.
we had a blast trick or treating at our ward trunk or treat and on halloween night. bri lasted for about two hours on actual halloween and she loved knocking on peoples doors with her aunt cc and saying trick or treat. halloween was so fun and we can't wait until next year!!

my little superboy, all tuckered out from a long day of fighting crime!

and my sassy little minnie :)

love my superguys!

bri being "spooooky" with her wicked witch grandma

grandma and cc looked so cute dressed up as dorothy and the wicked witch this year

helping grandma and grandpa pass out treats. we love our sweet girl!

happy halloween from us!!!!

pumpkin carving.

this year we attempted some pumpkin carving. bri still thought it was super gross and wanted nothing to do with it haha. instead she decided that it would be much more fun to sweep and sing songs. typical. haha. and rayce just wanted to sleep in his carseat. so just mom and dad got to do the fun carving :)
bobby worked hard and made brielle a very cute minnie pumpkin that she loved and then because he the silly man that i love, he carved himself a pumpkin that he could wear on his head. he is the weirdest. but he always makes us laugh!

helping daddy...as long as she didnt have to touch anything she was fine haha

pumpkin patching.

this year we made sure to make it to a pumpkin patch since we missed last year. we drove up to prescott valley and went to mortimer family farms and had a great time. it was cooler up there and we liked feeling like it was fall. but we really miss rexburg this time of year. fall in rexburg was always my favorite! bri was so excited to pick her very own pumpkin that she wanted to speed through everything else. but we got her to go through the corn maze, check out the petting zoo, and do a few other fun things before we went to get a pumpkin. she was so funny picking out the one that she wanted. she had a very specific pumpkin in mind and luckily we managed to find her a great pumpkin. she wanted it to be small and orange and she vetoed a lot of pumpkins before she found the perfect one! after we got our pumpkin we headed home, but not before we got some delicious homemade apple cider. i love this time of year!!

lost in the corn maze- one of my favorite fall traditions.

daddy getting in touch with his iowa roots, showing bri the corn.

hooray! we made it!

petting zoos freak her out a little bit haha

picking out her pumpkin. we finally found it!

searching for more pumpkins

"i love pumpkins"

i love these two! they crack me up.

she loved the pumpkin patch!

poor bri- exhausted on the ride home. too much fun!

what a great day! happy fall!!

celebrating halloween with chocolate pizzas

one of the first halloween activities that we did this year was go to the cerreta's chocolate factory by our house. they did a halloween activity every weekend where you got to make a chocolate pizza, do a halloween craft, and hear a halloween story. plus the kids got to wear their costumes and bri had been dying to wear her minnie costume. she was so excited! i'm so glad we decided to take bri because it was so fun and cute. we had a lot of fun, plus we got to eat chocolate. win, win.

decorating her apron.

"this looks beautiful!"

using the glue stick is the coolest.

she was so proud!

we loved spending the day with our sweet little minnie mouse!

brielle's friend dorothy.

i finally caved and let bobby get a fish. he has wanted one basically since we got married. and he and brielle ganged up on me so i had to give in haha. so bri got a pet fish named dorothy ("just like elmo's fish dorothy mom!" even though its a boy fish haha) they picked him out together and they are in charge of taking care of him. bri always remembers to feed dorothy when she wakes up and we can go to bed without feeding him. its so sweet and i love it when she will go check on him throughout the day to see if he is sleeping haha.

"dorothy loves to follow my fingers."

"hi dorothy. its me, brielley!"

these guys love dorothy!!

pong pong.

a few night this past month, bobby has busted out the ping pong table downstairs to play and brielle gets so excited!! she loves to play "pong pong" with her daddy. i love watching them. bri gets so excited when the ball hits her paddle, usually accidentally, but she still loves it! and rayce loved having daddy hold him. he always wants to be right in the action and watching everything. i just love all our silly little adventures.

twenty seven.

bobby turned 27 on october 10th! we sure do love him and neither of us can believe that he is officially in his late 20's! we sure love celebrating him, especially bri! she loves blowing out other peoples birthday candles haha. and rayce decided to show off his very first smile on his daddy's birthday! best son ever!!
happy (very) belated birthday babe! we love you!

state fair adventure.

we went to the state fair the first day that it opened when it only cost $1 to get in. that ended up being an excellent decision since we were only there for a few short hours. i hadn't been to the fair since i was a kid and it wasn't quite as glamorous or exciting as i remember it being haha. but we liked walking around and seeing everything and we let bri go on a few rides that she was actually tall enough for. poor girl, she was still a few inches short for the giant slide (and like every other ride). we had a great afternoon enjoying the fair as a family!

checking out the goats.

yummy fair food! the best part about fairs!

love her!

her sparkly pink ride!

proof that i was there too! haha. and bri loved that popcorn!
