g'day mate! vacations are cool as!

my brother spencer got home october 4th from his mission in sydney, australia.

it was so awesome!

having your brother come home from a mission is one of the best days ever! 

plus we got to go hang out in the hot arizona sun for a week. 

awesome vacation.

it was so fun to have all my brothers and sisters together for the first time in 2 years!

it was a little bittersweet because my younger brother preston is preparing to leave for his mission to torrean mexico on feb, 8th!

now that i know how awesome it is when a missionary comes home i am so anxious for february 2014!!! 

anyways. we had such an awesome vacation!

i love spending time with my family and it is especially fun now that we are all growing up. 

we got to just hang out and relax all week while bri got doted on by her grandparents and aunts and uncles.

it was so awesome. there is no other way to describe it.

my man turned 25 while we were there! hes a quarter of a century now. what an old man :)

we got loads of swimming time in and brielle just ate it up! she loves the pool

i just love family time.

and this time of year.

fall means beautiful leaves and vacations.

thanksgiving and christmas are just around the corner.

that means more family visits and we are so excited!!

i have a lot to catch up on here.

but i dont intend to do any of that today. 

instead i am going to jam out to taylor swift with brielle while i attempt to finish my laundry.

i love taylor.

i loved taylor before she WAS taylor.

i remember the summer after my senior year, my friend holly introduced me to one of taylors demo songs....'i'd lie'.
ive been hooked since then.

i anxiously awaited the release of her first album and purchased it the morning that it was available. 

and then listened to it religiously for like a month.

taylor always has a song that relates to my life.

in the early years it was songs of unrequited love like 'teardrops on my guitar' or 'you belong with me'.

then i met my bobby and we had our own 'love story' and he makes me 'crazier'.

and when brielle was born i sobbed ridiculously whenever i heard the song 'never grow up'. 

i love all of taylors songs. seriously, there isnt one that i dislike.

but my favorite taylor song is 'mine'.

because bobby, and now brielle, are definitely the best things that have ever been mine. 

and whenever i listen to that song it reminds me of how lucky i am to have them.

and it has been even more cemented as the favorite since my friend carly told me to watch her new music videos.
