take a picture....it'll last longer

instead of boring everyone with a detailed report of everything that has happened in the past month or so...i thought i would let our pictures do the talking.
camping

we've gotten to go camping twice this summer which has been really fun. we went with our friends the judys and the fleckners to camp at rigby lake this past weekend and had a great time! we got to swim and even got wendy's frostys for a late night treat. we were really roughing it! haha. we also went camping earlier this month around the 4th of july and bobby entertained everyone with his mountain man skills. i just love that boy!

drive-in fun

we love the drive-in! we went for family night this month and had such a great night. we made ourselves a sweet bed in the back of our truck and we had homemade popcorn and watched despicable me! so fun! we stayed and watched the karate kid also but i fell asleep about halfway through cause i was so comfy! :)

4th of july fireworks

i didnt really take very many pictures but we had a great 4th of july weekend. we met our friends the pages and eventually some other friends in idaho falls and had a great time staking out a sweet spot to watch the fireworks. we had so much fun and have such awesome friends!

turning 23!

we also celebrated my birthday at the end of last month and it was such a great day! i always tease bobby cause sometimes he isnt the best at birthdays but he gave me such a great surprise this year! he decorated our apartment with banners and 23 balloons that had 23 cute little notes in them. we went out to lunch with the judys at olive garden, i got a pedicure with my friend melinda and had cake with great friends later. what a great day and what a wonderful, sweet husband i have!!
it has been a great month and we have been doing great. i am showing a little bit more now and bobby and i have been keeping busy with work and school. we go to the doctor this thursday and we should find out if we are having a boy or a girl!! we couldnt be more excited! we are also very excited to be headed to iowa to visit famiy at the end of this week!

Everything about this post looks so fun! :) Ryan and I attempted the drive in last week with Lucy. We took our car because we were worried that it would get too cold with Lucy, so it was all going really great, until our car battery died at the very end of the first movie, Despicible Me. So, there we are, 11:30 at night, with a new baby, wondering what we should do. So, eventually Ryan gets out and walks around knocking on people's windows asking if they have any jumper cables. FINALLY he finds someone who has some, and they decide that they will jump the car after the second movie was over. Bad idea. We had enough battery left in the car to roll the windows down a little so that we could try to hear the movie from other people's radio's. But, it started getting colder and colder, so our windows eventually went up. Next thing I know, I look over and Ryan is trying to keep his arms warm while sticking his ear out the window. :) Me and Lucy were just fine, because I was holding her and she had lots of blankets on. :) {by the way, the second movie was Eclipse, I was totally stoked that it was there because it's kinda hard to take a baby to the theater, so drive in, perfect, that's pretty much why we went was for me to see Eclipse} So anyways, then the movie gets over and Ryan gets out of the car to wait for the guy to pull around to help us jump the car. Get this, they guy pulls out! They left, just drove out of there. So Ryan gets back in, and we are like okay, it's now 1:30ish, should we call someone to come help us? Luckily, the people that were parked right next to us hadn't left yet so Ry went to ask them, they had some cables, they jumped us, and we came home. The end. :)

P.S. That's why I asked the other day if you had jumper cables, ours got stolen out of Ryan's truck at some point and we have yet to get some more. But our car keeps dying ever since the drive-in, Ryan's going to fix it soon. :)

{That was long, maybe I should have just told you that in person. . .no, this is way more fun. :)}
