keeping busy

so these are some of the projects that i have been working on the past couple of months while bri and i have been stuck inside.

obviously i have gotten cabin fever.

this girl needs sunshine and summertime.

we have made bri and i loads and loads of hairbows. sorry that the quality of these pictures are bad. most of them are from my phone. the best part about making bows for brielle is that i have the cutest model ever for them!

this is the bow board from our bathroom filled up with all our creations.

this one is from an old shirt and i was pretty excited about it.

ive found lots of cute tutorials online on how to make our house look more springy because all this blah weather that we have been having has been putting me in a cranky mood!

i thought this one was super cute and fun and perfect for my new shelf that i got from d.i. and painted.
alot of the directions that i saw said to spray paint the bottles but i decided to just paint them.
mostly i decided this because i didnt have spray paint but i did have leftover regular white paint.

it took a little more time but i think it turned out pretty good.

so you may have gathered this by now, but the truth is i am a great copier.

my friend amber made the cutest spring wreath and luckily she is super nice to me because i just had to copy the idea. i did do different colors though so that makes it okay.

imitation is the highest form of flattery right?? thanks amber!

this next one is like my greatest blog discovery on the planet! i loooooooove tagalong girl scout cookies. like more than any other cookie in the world basically. but i seriously hate paying 3.50 for like 10 cookies. and lets face it.....once a year is just not good enough for me.

but i found this link for homemade tagalong knockoffs that were so cheap and just as good, if not better, than the girl scout variety! yummy! ive been craving them ever since the ones i made disappeared!

try it. they wont disappoint.

and my biggest project that i have been working on is finally finishing bri's nursery. she has only been alive for 3 and a half months. its about time i think.

i picked up this beauty for $4 at d.i. and painted it white.
i think it turned out better than i expected! the top white frame is also from d.i. and a black and white picture of brielle is going to go in it. i just havent ordered it yet.

and lastly. i love it when babies names are over their cribs and i originally had this whole wooden block letter idea. but then i got strangely paranoid about having something heavy over her bed.

weird i know.

so i came up with this little ditty made out of only paper and clothespins.

i was so excited about it and i think it turned out really good. mostly thanks to my friend mal, her schools cricut machine, and her excellent paper cutting skills. :)

anyways. these are my crafts.

i am proud of them. especially since i have never really thought of myself as a crafty person.

next project: jazzing up the plain old diaper bag i bought when my old one broke.

thank you for indulging me.

oh yeah. and this is our happy girl.

she cracks us up.
