well we did it.
we officially have left our life in rexburg behind.
even as we are unpacking our stuff i still cant really believe that we arent going to be headed back next week.
these past few weeks have just been crazy and ridiculously emotional.
but we are starting to get settled and set up in this new life of ours.
we spent the last week of july packing and cleaning like crazy and have been crazy busy ever since.
bri did not like getting all her stuff packed up. or being ignored.
although she did love rediscovering her old stuff
we need to give a big thank you to our family for all of their help and support these past few weeks. especially to my little brother spence who stayed with us after he finished school and basically saved us. he is awesome.
it wasnt all work before we left, we did get to hit up all of favorite rexburg spots and get to spend time with our friends that we already miss so dearly.
(like the judys and the princes. we love you guys!!!!)
bobby and spence getting ready for some delicious big judds
waiting for delicious burgers with my bff
my parents and cc came up with a trailer to help us pack everything up. (they are also awesome)
cc was on bri duty which may have been the hardest job of all because she was a beast that day. she hated having all her toys and stuff get all packed away. i cant really blame her though. i felt the same way.
our apartment was ridiculously hot, so bri got some playing time in the sink with some delicious grapes.
she was a good little helper too. she especially loved cleaning walls with grandma.
our empty apartment :(
we will definitely miss this place!
after we got everything packed away, we headed over to the judys to spend our last night in rexburg. it was the perfect way to end our rexburg life.
i have been blessed with so many awesome people in my life but this is one of the relationships that i am most thankful for. mallory and i became instant best friends when we were neighbors in college and have basically been inseparable ever since. we have lived next door to each other twice since then and have never been more than 5 minutes driving distance for the past 5 years basically.
leaving your best friend is really crappy. really crappy.
and i miss her like crazy already.
bri does too. she always points and says mal when she is scrolling through pictures on my phone.
thanks so much for opening up your beautiful home to us.
i love you!
our last views before leaving town
dont worry there are many more pictures of our adventures this past month coming soon. :)
