so bri will be 2 years old in just 2 and a half short months.

2 YEARS OLD

it is insane. how can time possibly fly by so fast?! i feel like i was just pregnant last week and we definitely just celebrated her 1st birthday like yesterday.

anyways. be prepared because this got a little lengthy between the videos, the pictures, and my babbling. but i've got to document it somewhere :)

she is such a fun little girl and she has us just about rolling on the floor laughing at her antics basically everyday.

somethings to know about brielle....

she is not very brave. like at all.

remember when she started nursery a few months ago and i said that she loved it. she had us totally tricked because that is a huge lie now. she does not love it.

she did better in her first nursery but she would get so sad when we would drop her off and there were only like 4 kids in there. in her new nursery there are 25-30 kids and every week is a constant battle. either bobby and i have had to stay in class with her ever since we moved here. things are getting better though...she really loves singing the songs and is starting to get used to all the other kids finally and this past week she spent most of the time not sobbing and we wernt even there! hooray for progress!

bri's biggest issue with bravery is that she doesnt like to try new things.

this includes everything from food to new people. 

but we have been working on being braver like when we forced her to play in the rain last month. she was sad for about two minutes before she realized how much fun she was having. haha

 another thing about bri is that she HATES being dirty. HATES IT. 

she is pretty ocd about it actually and is so sad until you clean off her feet or hands if they are dirty or sticky.

she is also very girly.

she loves her "pwetty dresses and nails and hairbows"

she loves playing with her dollies and beary and feeding them and putting them to bed.

she spends a lot of her time wearing necklaces and combing her hair.

bri loves playing on the computer and on moms phone. i cant even count the number of pictures of bris forehead that i have on my phone. she loves scrolling through the pictures and she really loves watching the disney junior shows on the phone. she can get to them all by herself which is insane. (she had a lot of phone time during the move) she also really loves to make phone calls so sorry if you have gotten any random calls or text messages from me recently. you can thanks brielle. :)

trying to get the computer to turn on.

 bri loves to read and be read to. the bottom shelf on our bookshelf belongs to her books and they are always in a huge pile on the floor because she loves to get them out one at a time, read them, then set them aside and pull out another one. she has a few favorites that she loves having read to her. most of them include the mickey mouse characters.

she will "read" anything that looks like a book.

 bri gets too distracted to watch alot of tv but in the mornings while we are playing or coloring we usually have disney junior on in the background. and she does like alot of the shows, especially the songs. 

her favorite thing to watch though is mickey mouse clubhouse.

she absolutely loves minnie mouse. and pluto.

it cracks us up to watch her sit down and become totally engrossed in the show. she loves the opening song and shouts all the characters names when they show up on the screen.

she also loves toodles and walks around the house all day saying "oh toooodles"

she likes jake and the neverland pirates also and loves to say "ahoy"

getting a little cartoon time in right before nap time.

 bri is talking so much! like saying full on sentences constantly. 

our current favorite things that she says are....

"brielley......too"- whenever you say that your going to do something like take a bath or go to the store or if you sit down. brielle says "brielley sit too" or "brielley bath too" or "beary bath too" when she wants beary to take a bath with her. or our personal favorite...."mommy/daddy 'tisses' too" when she has kissed one of us and is ready to give the other one 'tisses'

(also she refers to herself as brielley. as if she could get any cuter)

she also says "pwease" whenever she wants something and the longer you ignore her, the more drawn out the please becomes.

when she wants to do something herself she says "i do it" and when she finishes something she shouts "i did it!" so funny.

today she surprised me by coming up to me and telling me "more ice pweease"

she can pretty much repeat anything and it is getting ridiculously easy to understand her. its weird to listen to her babbling while she is playing and actually be able to understand what she is saying.

when you ask bri who her best friend is she yells "bellllllla" so cute!

 all in all, she is a huge ham. and she is getting so grown up. every single day she surprises us. and everyday we love her even more which seems impossible.

saying cheeeese. it may seem like she never has her hair combed but trust me that is fighting a losing battle since she is constantly combing it herself and she refuses to sleep with ponytails in and gets the craziest bed head ever. so if you catch her right after she wakes up (which happened in a lot of these pictures it seems) then her hair is NUTS.

she has just started throwing a few temper tantrums but mostly if you tell her no, this is the look you get. she is still really obedient but she wants you to know that she is very unhappy with you. it makes it really hard for us not to laugh.

anytime that daddy is not in the room or she cant see him, he is at work. haha

and oh yeah. she can totally swim by herself in her floaty!!! she is so so proud of herself and we love it!

i am so thankful to be bri's mom.

its such a relief to us that no matter where we are or what is going on in our lives, we are so happy
 and thats mostly because she is in our family. 

brielle brings an unbelievable amount of happiness and laughter into our home and we love her so much!!
