san diego

after we spent a fun few days visiting with the wolfes we drove to san diego to meet up with my family for the rest of our spring break.

just to warn you.....the next few posts are going to have like a billion pictures cause i took a ton. we were so excited for bri to have her 1st trip to beach!

we got there in the middle of the night and stayed at the hotel del coronado on coronado island. such a cool hotel! we were only there for a day because everyone else had already been there for a few days. we woke up and had a delicious breakfast and then headed right to the beach. bri loves to build sandcastles so she was in heaven and i couldn't believe how dirty she actually got! we were so proud! she LOVED playing in the sand, but did not like the water at all haha. it totally freaked her out. 

so she played in the sand with grandma while mom and dad and her aunt and uncle enjoyed playing in the waves a little bit. it had been a long time since i had been in the ocean and i had forgotten how fun it is.....even though it still freaks me out a little bit. haha

 we had such a fun morning and we loved watching bri play at the beach! afterwards we went and got cleaned up and then checked out and walked around the hotel. we had some yummy burgers for lunch and then headed to the gaslight district for a yummy treat before we left town.
