we arrived in Illinois just before a big storm did, so we spent the first few days of vacation relaxing inside and avoiding the cold. there was a lot of freezing rain and snow...in fact the Sunday before Christmas, church was even cancelled because of weather! so we had a fun few days hanging out with grandma and grandpa wolfe and keeping warm by the fire!

bri was so excited for the snow though, that we couldn't stay inside all the time and not enjoy it! she didn't remember playing in the snow when we lived in rexburg and she was so excited to make a snow angel! we had forgotten how much work it is living in the cold and snow....so many layers!! haha. but it was fun to be in the cold again!
