34 weeks.

i have not been very good at documenting this pregnancy. this is partly due to laziness, partly to the fact that i've been chasing down a two year old, and partly because this pregnancy has FLOWN by. which i am so happy about because lets face it, being pregnant the 2nd time around is much less exciting than it was the first time.

things haven't been too bad this time around. i have gestational diabetes like i did when i was pregnant with brielle, but i have been able to control it with just my diet again. it was a lot more difficult this time, but we've been exercising and eating healthy and things have been great!

the only bummer about this pregnancy is that it has totally ruined my hair. i didnt get the luscious, full locks that i had with bri. but instead i got scalp issues and tons of hair falling out and even a few bald spots. of course this gave me a ton of stress and i may have had some moments where i was freaking out. luckily bobby said that he would still love me if i went bald haha. but i got a new haircut that i love full of short layers that helps me not to  feel so self conscious and hide the not so good spots. plus its already growing back in so that helped me feel loads better!

other than that.....this pregnancy has been relatively smooth and i will take hair issues over nausea and issues for baby brother any day!

 we are amazed at the difference in personality between this little guy and bri already. he is definitely bobby's son and i am already imagining a miniature bobby running around our house causing havoc haha. bri never moved a ton when i was pregnant, in fact bobby hardly ever got to feel her because she would move and get re-situated so quickly. this little man however is constantly on the move and pushing on me constantly! its so funny to me that pregnancy can be so different and the huge differences that i can already tell are going to be there between our two kiddos.

another great thing about this pregnancy is that we have gotten to see our little guy a ton! since the middle of july we have been going to get ultrasounds every tuesday and friday to check things out and measure because of my diabetes. our favorite is that bri loves the ultrasounds because she "loves to see baby brother orange!" when they make the picture 3D, the screen goes orange. she is going to be so disappointed that he isn't orange when he finally gets here. haha even though it stinks to have so many appointments we love getting to see him so much. even if it does make me super anxious for him to get here!

here are some pictures from 34 weeks....one of the few times i actually remembered to document a week with a picture....and i mostly remembered because i made my first ever maxi skirt and wanted to document that and my new haircut. haha. oh well....pregnancy makes you forgetful.

34 weeks

we are ready to see this girl as a big sister! she is going to be great! plus i really miss snuggling her on my lap :)
