somethings that happened in january

okay, january wasn't all bad. in between fevers and coughs we did manage to do lots of fun things. so luckily the new year wasn't a total bust. here are some of my favorite memories from january...

bri decided that it would be really funny to hide in her shirt one day. she did this all day and laughed hysterically each time. she is a hoot. haha

we always do lots of coloring. its one of our favorite things

january was awesome because we got to wear all of our new pretty dresses to church that she got for christmas. she LOVES wearing pretty dresses!

bri is always the silliest and the giggliest right before bed. getting her ready for bed is usually the highlight of our day.

the temper tantrums that come along being two came in full force this month. this particular pose happened whenever she was upset and someone was looking at her. "don't look at me!!!!!!"

naps have been scarce lately and so after about 2 minutes in the car, this happens. this particular day she had a death grip on piglet.

playing at the doctors office for her 2 year checkup. at 2 years and 1 month, she weighed 21.3 lbs. (3rd percentile) and was 34 and 3/4 in. tall. (75th percentile) she is still our little bitty girl.

we got lots of rain in january (lots for arizona anyways) and bri loved going outside to watch the rain.

we love watching her snuggle with beary :)

we sent elder brooksby back on his mission for the 3rd time in january. this time was after his 2nd knee surgery. we were lucky to have him home for christmas, but luckily he has no more knees cause it gets harder to send him everytime!

we went hiking with grandma a few times in january too. grandma goes everyday and she is way too fast for us since bri insists on walking until she gets tired. but every time we joined her bri had a blast climbing and collecting rocks.

grandma told her to hold onto her hair so that she wouldnt fall off. bri held into her own hair instead haha

king of the world

everyone is always really impressed when they watch her hike. she usually lasts a ridiculously long time before she wants to be carried. her legs are super strong because she literally hops everywhere she goes haha

we made it!!!!

we also washed the cars in january and bri thought that was the greatest thing that ever happened. she loved using the hose to spray the car and take drinks and she didnt even care about getting wet which was crazy. some of you may be thinking, no wonder you were so sick in january if you were getting wet outside. but i promise you it was really hot that day. arizona is weird like that.
