bri has been obsessed with camping lately and so bobby had the genius idea to set up our tent in the front room for a "camping trip" since it will probably be awhile until we can go on a real one. she was SO excited! and she kept shouting, "we going camping!!!" all night. we set up the tent and played in it for awhile. then we got our beds set up. bri was so excited for her and beary to get to sleep in the tent like a big girl.
after dinner, when it got dark, we went outside to papa's firepit and roasted marshmallows. bri thought roasting the marshmallows were pretty cool, but she only wanted to scarf down the chocolate. haha.
after marshmallows we got ready for bed and all snuggled into our tent! she was so cute and excited. she laid right down, closed her eyes, and went to sleep. we were so proud. and bobby was especially happy when she woke up in the middle of the night and wanted to snuggle with daddy. she crawled right up to him and they slept that way until morning. we love hanging out with daddy!!

all in all, it was one great camping trip! i forget how awesome little things are when you're two years old. i love experiencing things through brielle. she is the funnest!

love the idea of camping in the front yard! we'll have to try that with everton sometime so he'll get used to it.
